Nissimo was set up in 2002 by Tony Williams, whose 20 year-experience of IT-related industries included running a game-development company, creating Windows-based tools for Nintendo developers and writing computer games.

Since that time, the company has worked in a number of fields, including web development, database design, web site support, and creation of the game 'Fruitfall'.
